A professional, confident, and highly flexible career nanny is sought for a warm family with an 18-month-old child. Due to the parents’ work-related travel schedule, flexibility is the number one priority for this role. This position is best suited to a nanny who is adaptable, solutions-oriented, and comfortable adjusting hours, routines, and availability when needed.

The family values trust and professionalism and is looking for a nanny who works with initiative and confidence, without the need for micromanagement. In return, the family offers a respectful, supportive, and long-term working relationship.

About the Role

• Position: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
  Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with a high degree of flexibility required
  Hours: Approx. 42–50 hours per week, with occasional adjustments
  Child: One child, 18 months old
  Start: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
  Travel: Occasional travel with the family is expected

• Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for a toddler

• Adapt seamlessly to changing schedules due to parental travel or work commitments

• Create a calm, nurturing, and stimulating environment rooted in Montessori principles

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage independence and curiosity

• Maintain consistent routines while remaining adaptable when changes are required

• Prepare and cook healthy meals for the child and support family meals when needed

• Travel with the family when required, ensuring continuity of care and routine

• Maintain tidy, organised child-related spaces and manage nursery duties

• Act as a trusted partner to the family, demonstrating discretion, reliability, and professionalism

• Ideal Candidate

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years as a professional nanny with similar-aged children

• Education: Teaching background or recognised childcare qualification preferred

• Flexibility: Highly adaptable, available to adjust hours, support occasional nights, and travel as needed

• Approach: Montessori-oriented, practical, calm, and guided by common sense

• Work Style: Self-starter who works confidently and independently, willing to go the extra mile

• Personal Qualities: Warm, discreet, punctual, reliable, organised, and genuinely passionate about childcare

• Additional Information

• Driver required (a nanny car is provided for use on duty)

• Willingness to support occasional evenings, nights, and travel

• Enjoys cooking healthy, seasonal, child-friendly meals

• Lives within a max. 40-minute commute from Zurich City
